Georg Schüler operates Lot2Block as a private, non-commercial project. Privacy questions and requests can be sent by email.

Data processed when the site is opened

Lot2Block does not create a user profile or an application user database. Delivering the site and its maps nevertheless requires technical requests. The hosting provider and any map or 3D provider used by the selected view may receive connection data such as the IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser or user-agent information, and referrer information.

This processing is used only to deliver the requested site, render geographic content, maintain security, and diagnose technical failures. The intended legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the operator's legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional visualization service.

Local storage on this device

The application does not set analytics or advertising cookies. It uses browser local storage to remember the selected market and, only when a visitor uses the save feature, saved lot sets and labels chosen by that visitor. This information remains in the browser and is not sent to Lot2Block as tracking data.

The saved information can be removed by clearing this site's browser data. This device storage supports the feature requested by the visitor and is not used to follow activity across websites.

External map and 3D services

The standard map uses CARTO resources containing OpenStreetMap contributor data. Optional satellite or 3D views can contact Esri, Cesium ion, Google Maps Platform, or other providers identified in the Attributions page when those features are enabled and opened. Those providers process requests under their own privacy terms.

Retention and recipients

The Lot2Block application does not retain account, form, analytics, or advertising data because it does not collect any. Browser-local saved information remains until the visitor removes it. A hosting or infrastructure provider may retain necessary security logs only for as long as required to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service, then delete or anonymize them according to its operational policy.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, visitors may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of their personal data, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. They may also complain to a competent data-protection supervisory authority. Because Lot2Block has no account or submission flow, the operator may hold no application data that can be linked to a visitor beyond infrastructure records held for delivery and security.

Why there is no consent banner

The current site does not use consent-dependent analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking. Its limited browser storage supports requested preferences and saved-lot functionality. If that changes, this notice and the consent mechanism must be reviewed before the change is released.
